Let The Right One
In
Critically acclaimed spectacular
production Swedish films arrives at the London Westend Apollo Theatre with the
multi award winning play, Let The Right One In. The outstanding play has
enjoyed great success at the Royal
Court last year and now come to the Apollo Theatre
of London.
The two hours and fifteen minutes
show, Let The Right One In is hugely inspired from the 2008 movie by Tomas
Alfredson, whereas penned by John Ajvide Lindqvist. The show has been also
inspired from the 2010 American remake
Let Me In and also from the original novel by Lindqvist.
The brilliant saga has been
visualized in accordance with onstage production and navigated from Sweden to Scotland. The
prestigious Tony Award winning director John Tiffany has directed the show. His
earlier credit includes Black Watch and Once. The show is adapted by the writer
Jack Thore who is BAFTA Award winner and his earlier credits are Skins and This
is England

The story of Let The Right One In
revolves around a lonely bullied school boy Oskar and finds a friend in
mysterious Eli. She moves in as his new neighbour with a man called Hakan whom
the community believes as her father and who has never been seen out in
daylight. With a series of murders, the story becomes more gripping and
friendship between the two blossoms into love.
The two hours and fifteen minutes
show is certainly chilling and moving against the background of a love story.
With brilliant composition by Olafur Arnalds, the show finely presents the
romantic atmosphere. Award winning performance by Martin Quinn and Rebecca
Benson is simply outstanding. Let The Right One In is recommended for 13+ kids.
